Balta Blasova se află pe Insula Mare a Brăilei, la aproximativ 20-28 km de municipiul Brăila, accesibilă cu bacul peste Dunăre și apoi pe un drum de piatră/beton urmat de un segment de pământ (indicator BLASOVA). Lacul are formă de potcoavă (fost braț al Dunării colmatat, circa 300 m între maluri), iar pe mal funcționează complexul Lacul Blasova, cu restaurant, pensiune, foișoare, mese și un ponton nou, deschis în august 2026; se închiriază bărci. Specii: crap, amur, somn, șalău, fitofag, caras, plătică, oblete.
