Balta Sâncel este situată la aproximativ 3 km de Blaj, județul Alba, cu deviere la dreapta pe un drum de țară înainte de intrarea în localitatea Sâncel, drum nerecomandat pe vreme ploioasă. Este administrată de AJVPS Alba - Filiala Blaj: pe lângă permisul ANPA e nevoie de permisul asociației. În apă se găsesc crap și caras.
