Balta Vințu de Jos se află între Lancrăm și Vințu de Jos, județul Alba, la circa 7-8 km de Alba Iulia; se ajunge de pe E81 pe un drum pietruit sau prin Lancrăm, spre fosta fermă agricolă, iar gara CFR Vințu de Jos este la circa 2 km. În apă se prind crap și știucă. Este o apă publică, fără taxă proprie: nu apare în lista oficială ANPA a habitatelor contractate de asociații (15.09.2026), așa că se pescuiește cu permisul de pescuit recreativ ANADSPA (fosta ANPA).
