Râul Dâmbovița, în municipiul București, oferă locuri de pescuit de la stăvilarul Ciurel în aval, de-a lungul cheiurilor, fără taxă de baltă. În apă se găsesc biban, caras și crap. Conform listei ANPA a habitatelor contractate (23.02.2026), Râul Dâmbovița (de la Zurbaua, com. Dragomirești-Vale, până la Bălăceanca, com. Cernica) este contractat de AVPS ACVILA: pe lângă permisul ANADSPA (fosta ANPA) e nevoie de permisul asociației.
