Lacul Potcoava se află lângă satul Grădiștea, județul Călărași, aproape de comuna Alexandru Odobescu, și este cunoscut local ca loc de pescuit. Este apă publică: nu apare ca habitat contractat în lista ANPA (Balta Potcoava din listă, de 2 ha, e în zona Oltenița), așa că se pescuiește cu permisul de pescuit recreativ ANADSPA (fosta ANPA). Nu se confundă cu Lacul Potcoava din Delta Dunării, rezervație strict protejată.
