Lacul de acumulare Vârșolț se află pe râul Crasna, lângă satul Vârșolț, la circa 20 km de Zalău, și este cel mai mare lac de acumulare din județul Sălaj. Este un habitat piscicol natural contractat de AJVPS Sălaj: se pescuiește cu permisul asociației, fără taxă privată separată, cu respectarea prohibiției și a dimensiunilor minime legale. În apă se găsesc crap, caras, știucă, șalău, biban și clean.
