Râul Șieu este curs de apă public din județul Bistrița-Năsăud (68 Km), inclus în lista ANPA a habitatelor piscicole naturale contractate (01.01.2021). Limite: Izvoare-conf. Someșul Mare. Este habitat piscicol contractat de AJVPS BISTRIȚA NĂSĂUD: pe lângă permisul ANADSPA (fosta ANPA) e nevoie de permisul asociației. Punctul de pe hartă este cel din lista ANPA (un punct de pe sector, nu tot cursul). Pe ultimii 200 m înainte de vărsarea în Someșul Mare pescuitul e interzis tot anul (Ordinul 23/297/2025, art. 4 lit. ii).
