Balta la Ionel is a laid-out pond of 1.5 ha in the commune of Iclănzel (village of Mădărășeni), Mureș County, with a central island, 26 pegs, pontoons, a gazebo and private parking. Fishing is exclusively Catch and Release, with at most 2 rods per person, in-line rigs or rigs with a lost lead, and a landing net and antiseptic spray mandatory. The lake is intensively stocked with carp, grass carp and Prussian carp, the fish averaging 1-3 kg, and the lake record is 10 kg. Peg reservations are made online or by telephone.
