Fishing in the Danube Delta

The Danube Delta, Romania's largest wetland, is a Biosphere Reserve with its own fishing rules. Below are 84 fishing spots in RoFish inside the reserve: public branches, channels and lakes (81 public waters), plus 3 private lakes.

The ANADSPA (formerly ANPA) permit is not valid in the Delta: you need the ARBDD recreational fishing permit (free) and the reserve access permit (paid). The special rules include at most 5 kg of fish per day, a single carp, pike, zander or catfish per day, and tents only in authorised places. How to get the ARBDD permit

Many waters in the Delta can only be reached by boat, and the border area (the Chilia branch, on the border with Ukraine) has extra rules. The Delta and border waters. Each spot's page shows its species and basic rules; prices, the full rules, contact details and the weather are in the RoFish app.
