Balta Târnava se află în spatele satelor Târnava și Tunari (comuna Botoroaga), județul Teleorman, pe valea Glavaciocului, cu acces pe drum asfaltat în stare foarte bună. Este apă publică, fără taxă: se pescuiește cu permisul de pescuit recreativ ANADSPA (fosta ANPA). În apă se găsesc crap și caras. Are parcare, bărci, loc de camping și umbrar.
