Lacul de acumulare Tăuț (about 146 ha) is near the village of Tăuț, Arad County, about 60 km north-east of Arad, on the route Arad-Horia-Șiria-Galșa-Mâsca-Târnova-Tăuț. A maximum of 3 kg of fish may be kept, carp only between 1 and 3 kg, and Prussian carp without limit. The lake holds carp, grass carp, silver carp, Prussian carp, chub, roach, perch, catfish, pike, zander and asp (the lake's official page mentions naturally raised carp, grass carp, silver carp and Prussian carp, of 2-20 kg).
