Barajul de acumulare de la Galicea, județul Vâlcea, formează pe Olt un lac (Acumularea Băbeni) folosit ca punct de pescuit pe apele publice; se prind crap, caras, plătică, roșioară și somn. Acumularea Băbeni e habitat piscicol contractat de AJVPS Vâlcea: pe lângă permisul ANADSPA (fosta ANPA) e nevoie de permisul asociației.
