About this spot
EcoPiscicola Giurgiu is a new fishing complex set up in a former gravel pit in the village of Poenari, Ulmi commune, Giurgiu County, next to the București–Pitești motorway, with water at least 3 metres deep. On Basin I fishing is allowed daily between 06:00 and 18:00, and access at night is prohibited. Catches over 5 kg and over 10 kg are rewarded with free sessions.
