Iaz Cornești

About this spot

The Cornești pond is in the village of Cornești, Miroslava commune, near the municipality of Iași, and has about 8 ha, with depths between 1.5 and 2.5 m. Carp, grass carp, silver carp, Prussian carp, zander, perch and wels catfish are caught (in 2026 the pond's page showed wels catfish of 6–8.4 kg). Cabins can be rented and a peninsula for groups, the area is under video surveillance, and the usual schedule is 06:30-19:00 (in summer it may change).
