Lacul Vlăscuța se află în județul Galați, în zona Foltești, în Parcul Natural Lunca Joasă a Prutului Inferior – o zonă de protecție specială avifaunistică, de interes național, unde opresc în migrație numeroase specii de păsări acvatice (stârci, berze, rațe). Se pescuiește cu permisul AJVPS Galați, pe lângă permisul de pescuit recreativ ANADSPA (fosta ANPA). Speciile întâlnite sunt crap, știucă, plătică, caras și somn.
