Locul natural Apața se află pe râul Olt, în dreptul localității Apața, județul Brașov, la 30-35 km spre Târgu Mureș, la dreapta pe drumul de la Măieruș. Sunt coturi ale Oltului cu multe brațe, potrivite pentru orice stil de pescuit. Speciile întâlnite sunt crap, știucă, caras, roșioară, babușcă, biban, plătică și lin. Pescuitul de noapte este permis. Râul Olt (Lunca Câlnicului - Feldioara - Augustin, 64 km) este contractat de AJPS BRAȘOV: pe lângă permisul ANADSPA (fosta ANPA) e nevoie de permisul asociației.
