Reporting your catches to ANADSPA (formerly ANPA)
It's mandatory and next year's permit depends on it. How to do it in five minutes.
MADR Order no. 260/2026 (in force since 7 September 2026, replacing Order 60/2017) requires recreational fishing permit holders to report their catches. On waters not assigned to an association (the ANADSPA permit), you fill in the catch record, which is part of the permit, for each zone after each fishing session, and send it by 31 December. If you don't send it on time, you won't get a permit for the following year -- even if you report zero. On an association's waters, the association does the reporting, by 28 February of the following year.
Steps
- Log in to your account on the ANADSPA permit portal (the same account you got the permit with).
- Open the catch reporting section for the current year.
- After each fishing session, fill in the catch record for the zone where you fished: the species, the number of fish and the approximate weight. If you didn't fish or didn't catch anything, send the record with zero.
- Send the record by 31 December and keep the confirmation. After that you can apply for next year's permit.
Tips
- Keep a journal during the year (you can use the catches you posted in RoFish as a reminder); at the end of the year it's hard to reconstruct.
- Reporting is statistical, not fiscal: you don't pay anything based on what you declare; the data helps set quotas and closed seasons.
- If you've lost access to your account, recover it through the portal (the e-mail you registered with); don't create a new account, because your permit history stays on the old one.
