The ANADSPA (formerly ANPA) recreational fishing permit
The Danube and its branches (outside the Delta), the Black Sea and all public waters not contracted by associations.
Cost: Free for individuals.
Validity: The current calendar year (renewed every year).
Steps
- 1
Go to the ANADSPA permit portal
It's the only official place. Don't use intermediary sites that charge money for an “ANADSPA permit”.
permise.anpa.ro ↗ - 2
Create an account
With your e-mail address, your ID details (name, personal number, address) and phone number. You'll get a confirmation e-mail.
- 3
Report last year's catches (if you had a permit)
The portal won't issue the new permit until you complete the catch report for the previous year, even if you caught nothing (a zero report).
- 4
Apply for this year's permit
Choose “recreational fishing permit”, check your details and submit the application. It's usually approved automatically within minutes.
- 5
Download the PDF with the QR code
Keep it on your phone (you can also print it). When checked, the QR code is scanned. If you lose it, download it again from your account.
Good to know
- On waters contracted by associations or forestry directorates you also need their permit -- see below.
- Not valid in the Danube Delta.
