The ARBDD permit (Danube Delta)
All waters in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve: the Danube's branches in the Delta, the channels, the lakes and the lagoons (Razim-Sinoe).
Cost: The ARBDD recreational fishing permit is free. The reserve access permit has a small fee, per day or per year (Order 610/2009, as updated), plus separate fees for your own boat or car.
Validity: Fishing permit: annual. Access: daily or annual.
Steps
- 1
Go to the ARBDD online permit portal
The recreational fishing permit and the access permit (tourist, boat, vehicle) are issued online, with your account; you can also get them at the ARBDD office in Tulcea (34A Portului St.), at the information centres in the Delta, by SMS to 7494 or at SelfPay kiosks.

Apply for the recreational fishing permit (free)
With your ID details. You don't need the ANADSPA (formerly ANPA) permit -- it isn't valid in the Delta.
- 3
Pay for the access permit
You get it for the days or the year you enter the reserve; if you bring your own boat, also the boat fee.
- 4
Follow the Delta's rules
Max. 5 kg of fish per day; pike, zander, catfish and carp: catch & release, with a single fish per day from a single species; some lakes and channels are strictly protected zones where fishing is forbidden; tents only at authorised campsites.

Good to know
- For each water in the Delta, RoFish lists the exceptions (tents, forbidden zones) where we found them in the ARBDD documents.
