The anglers' association permit (AJVPS / AVPS / APS / club)

Public rivers and lakes contracted from ANADSPA (formerly ANPA) by an association -- most hill and mountain waters, many reservoirs.

Cost: Set by each association: usually an annual membership fee (approx. 100-300 RON, with discounts for pensioners and students) or daily permits (approx. 20-50 RON). Some associations also require you to join as a member.

Validity: Annual or daily, depending on the type chosen.

Steps

  1. 1

Find out who manages the water

On the water's page in RoFish, in the “Permit” row, you'll find the association's name and phone number. The full list of contracted waters, by county, is on arebaltapeste.ro.

  2. 2

Get the ANADSPA (formerly ANPA) permit first

Associations require it as a basis: without it they won't issue their permit. See the ANADSPA tutorial above.

  3. 3

    Contact the association

Call the number shown or visit the association's website (many AJVPS are on avpsro.eu). Ask about permit types, prices and where they're issued.

  4. 4

    Pay and collect the permit

At the association's office, its branches in the county or at partner tackle shops; more and more associations issue the permit online, with card payment.

  5. 5

    Read the association's rules

They can be stricter than the law: quiet zones, lower keep limits, bans on night fishing or on certain methods.
