The Ieud River is a mountain water in Maramureș County, with trout, directly administered by the National Forest Administration – Romsilva, through the Maramureș Forestry Directorate, according to the ANADSPA (formerly ANPA) list of fish habitats in mountain waters that remain with Romsilva. Sector on the list: from the sources to its mouth in the Iza. Recreational fishing is done with the Romsilva permit and under the forestry directorate's rules, only during the day, between sunrise and sunset.
