Catch & release lakes

On catch & release lakes every fish caught goes back, which is why they often hold big specimens. The list covers 143 private lakes in RoFish with catch & release for all species, grouped by county; lakes with mixed rules (you release only some species or the big fish) are not included.

To get the fish back into the water in good shape: use an unhooking mat, wet your hands before touching it, keep it out of the water as briefly as possible and remove the hook carefully (barbless or debarbed hooks help). Fish release guide

Each spot's page shows its species and basic rules; prices, the full rules, contact details and the weather are in the RoFish app.
